The ActiveFX, Deep and TotalFX procedures are performed in our office and take about 20 minutes. We use topical numbing cream to minimize discomfort during the procedure, no anesthesia is necessary. Afterward the treated skin feels like it has been sunburned. During the healing process skin will start to flake off within 2 days and pinkness will be gone in about a week. Skin is noticeably tightened immediately afterward and most patients say they look 5 - 10 years younger.
