MACS-Lift
The MACS-Lift offers the advantages of a traditional face-lift without many of the problems. It’s an ingenious minimally invasive outpatient procedure that’s a perfect example of how less can offer more.
Oral sedation (Valium) relaxes the patient and tumescent local anesthesia serves multiple purposes by gently lifting the skin from underlying tissue and allowing for a nearly bloodless procedure. A small incision is made in the natural crease in front of the ear and is meticulously closed. It heals to a barely detectable scar. Patients are allowed to go home and relax after the surgery.
The procedure takes about two hours and results in:
• A natural more youthful look.
• Quick recovery (3 – 7 days).
• Cost savings (about 1/3 the cost of a traditional
0 face-lift) and lower risk, since general anesthesia
0 is not used.
• Smaller incisions with virtually no bleeding.
• Less post-operative bruising, swelling, pain
0 and scarring.
• Youthful restoration of sagging skin in the lower
0 2/3rds of the face and neck.
Recovery from the MACS-Lift is much easier with less potential for complications and discomfort due to procedure’s innovative technique.
